Ken Davies has been with the Holand & Holland Shooting School for more than 30 years and was appointed chief instructor in 1984. When first joining the company he was trained by the late Norman Clarke who in turn had been taught by the celebrated Mr Robert Churchill. Ken Davies is consider to be one of the leading game shooting instructors in Great Britain and teaches the natural and instinctive method of shooting that is the mark of the Holland & Holland Shooting School.
In response to the tremendous increase in sporting clay competitions, Holland & Holland and Shooting Times now offer the second in their series of sporting programs. Sporting clays are designed to simulate every target found in the shooting field and the instruction offered in this DVD will help the field shot and the clay shooter, the novice and the expert.
Tony Booth, a winner of the British Open and United States Ladies' Cahmpion Holly Haggard demonstrate their skills with clays at Holland & Holland's Shooting School and together with Chief Instructor Ken Davies, they tour eight stands of varying difficulty. Every aspect of sporting clays is covered in detail to help the viewer progress to a sound and consistent technique.
